Jack Smalley is an attorney dedicated to advocating for individuals and families who have been injured through the negligence of others. He earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University and his Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law in South Carolina, and he was admitted to the practice of law after successfully passing the July 2025 Bar examination.
Jack brings meaningful litigation experience to the firm through his work as a law clerk for a mass tort firm, where he assisted with complex injury claims involving extensive discovery, case evaluation, and trial preparation. His experience also includes working directly with Family Court judges in Charleston and Florence, South Carolina, giving him valuable insight into judicial decision-making, courtroom procedure, and the standards courts expect from effective advocates.
Academically, Jack distinguished himself in litigation-focused coursework, earning CALI Excellence Awards in Evidence, Sales, and Principles of E-Discovery. These achievements reflect his strong command of evidentiary issues, persuasive advocacy, and the increasingly technical demands of modern litigation.
Jack approaches every case with thorough preparation, attention to detail, and a commitment to securing the best possible outcome for his clients. He is focused on holding wrongdoers accountable and ensuring that injured clients are treated fairly throughout the legal process.
