Founded with the goal of helping injured people fight for their rights
The law firm of Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz, LPA was founded in 1990 by attorneys Mike Dyer and Doug Mann with the goal of helping injured people fight for their rights against insurance companies. Currently the firm has 13 offices located throughout western Ohio and Indiana. Our firm was proud to be voted best law firm in the Miami Valley People’s Choice Awards for 2020.
When the firm started, we handled personal injury, slip & fall, dog bites, and premise liability cases. Doug Mann worked for an insurance company prior to founding the firm, so he had extensive expertise in personal injury cases.
Our Law Firm is a Family
Today, our firm has grown to include 12 attorneys and we have expanded to include cases involving defective products, dangerous drugs, Social Security Disability and Workers’ Compensation.
Our firm is like our second family. We spend a lot of time working together to take care of our clients’ needs and we are fortunate to have a terrific team of attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staff. To celebrate our law firm family, we take the whole firm on a trip every two years. These family vacations may be cruises, beach getaways, Vegas adventures, or trips to other destinations entirely, but we want to show our appreciation for the hard work our team does for our clients.

We help families going through difficult times in the states of Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. Our practice areas range from auto accidents, to medical malpractice, to employment discrimination cases. We work with the Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyers project to provide pro bono legal work for those who can’t afford private representation and we frequently participate in local festivals and fairs. We also donate time and resources to local charities, such as For Love of Children, Inc, an organization devoted to helping abused children. Our firm also supports LGBTQ+ rights through organizations like Equality Ohio and PFLAG.

We are proud to have achieved professional recognition as a firm, and several of our attorneys have been listed individually as Super Lawyers®, an award only 5% of the attorneys in each state are chosen for each year.
