David Marquis has devoted over 20 years to representing injured victims against insurance companies. He has represented over 5,000 injured Ohioans. He has also handled cases from across the United States and internationally. David has resolved multiple cases well in excess of a million dollars. Recently, he concluded a motorcycle accident case for over three million dollars.
He is a graduate of The College of New Jersey. He attended the University of Dayton School of Law and graduated in 1990. David completed a 2 year judicial clerkship for The Honorable Judge Thomas Grady (retired) of the Ohio Second District Court of Appeals, drafting opinions for the Court. David next spent two years working for Lexis Nexis as Staff Attorney before joining Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz as an associate attorney in 1995. Since that time, David has represented thousands of injured plaintiffs in an aggressive and highly successful manner. He was named Partner in 2004.
David is actively involved in the community with the Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyers Project where he provides pro bono service. He is an adjunct professor at Edison State College.
He is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
