Alex Mann is a dedicated advocate with extensive experience in high-stakes litigation. Mr. Mann has worked on some of the nation’s largest product liability cases, including lawsuits against Juul Labs for misleading consumers about the addictiveness of their e-cigarettes and unlawfully marketing to minors—litigation that culminated in a landmark $1.7 billion settlement.
Before joining Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz, Mr. Mann focused on complex Multi-District Litigations against major pharmaceutical companies, assisting in securing substantial settlements, including a $425 million resolution with AstraZeneca over injuries caused by its proton pump inhibitor drugs.
Early in his career, while practicing corporate litigation, Mr. Mann contributed to a pro bono case that would ultimately reshape legal precedent regarding the treatment of private student loan debt in bankruptcy. Motivated by this experience, he transitioned to full-time consumer advocacy, working on multiple class-action lawsuits. This student debt litigation resulted in victories in the Fifth and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals and has been featured in major media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, CBS News, Bloomberg Law, Forbes, and Newsweek.
At Dyer, Garofalo, Mann & Schultz, Mr. Mann continues to leverage his litigation experience to fight for his clients.
